Photowires
Viewpoints for these images were chosen in consultation with Daventry District Council, local Parish Councils, Highways Agency and English Heritage. From a number of these viewpoints the turbines will not be visible. To demonstrate this we have produced the following images - known as photowires.
These are produced by photographing the existing view and making it semi-transparent. A 3D terrain map is laid over this image with the turbine locations highlighted in red. In reality the turbines would not be visible, as they would be obscured by existing buildings or trees for example.
