Another chance to experience wind energy in action

Your Energy is offering residents another chance to experience the reality of wind power through a free trip and guided tour of Northamptonshire's first operational wind farm.

The visits to Burton Wold Wind Farm near Kettering follow our well-attended exhibitions in Yelvertoft, Crick and Lilbourne to display our plans for an 8-turbine wind farm in the Daventry district.

We are now offering another opportunity for anyone interested to take a tour of our working Burton Wold Wind Farm on Friday 17 October or Saturday 18 October.

As well as learning more about how the 10-turbine wind farm generates renewable electricity visitors will have the chance to stand under a turbine and even see inside.

Buses will be laid on to collect anyone interested in visiting Burton Wold from Yelvertoft, Crick and Lilbourne. Residents living outside the villages are also welcome to meet Your Energy staff in Burton Latimer.
