Wind Turbines and Distance to Houses
Presently, distances of turbines from houses are determined by issues such as visual impact and statutory noise requirements. Other countries such as Scotland and France do not require a legal separation distance.
A recent BBC Politics Show looked at the merits of a bill proposed by Peter Luff MP (Worcestershire), to introduce a minimum separation distance of wind turbines from houses. The article featured Burton Wold near Kettering, which we are proud to have developed. The article can be viewed by clicking here.
